Yes.

Entering radio silence for the next week or so while Kal and I hike up to New York to get married.

Not posting for a week would possibly not get noticed, but… Announcing things. c:

I am so bad at actually posting things these days, oops. Here’s a sort of pseudo ref sheet of doodles of Z (aka my ‘sona [sometimes fursona, most of the time not so much fur as just a sort of abstracted drawn me, hmm]). Growlithe thrown in for lulz, although if that was an actual shapeshift, it would’ve been black with orange floof instead of orange with white floof. It’s not, I just really like growlithe. Bonus splotches of my favorite colors.

Anonymous asked: That cartoon dragon with white toes and fingers. Is he available? I would pay to use it in a game

This guy? (Doesn’t have fingers, but I’m not sure what else you’d be referring to. o: Feel free to enlighten me! Also feel free to come off anon, I don’t bite. :P )

I’m inclined to say no, but you could try giving me more details, such as the sort of game and what this would entail. c:

First time in years I’ve poked at colored pencils. Shenanigans were had.

Recently and stuff

In case anyone’s been wondering about the utter lack of posts recently, it’s been because of a mix of the following:

 • Real life planning. Most significantly preparing to spend three months with Katie, starting in two weeks (<3<3<3), but also other bland junk.
 • Gaming outside the realm of screenshots. I’ve been hanging out on my 3DS for the most part recently, and while I can take pictures of the screen it’s not fast and convenient. There’s still some PC gaming thrown in, but less post-worthy stuff.
 • Not drawing much. My laptop fell over and was subsequently wiped so I lost some files and no longer have PSE installed. I should still have the disc for it around somewhere, but I procrastinate. FireAlpaca is a functional substitute, but just barely, and I don’t feel particularly compelled to draw at the moment.
 • Simply not feeling like broadcasting as much as I usually do. I’m not really sure why, but it’s not a first for this sort of “post dry spell”, so meh. Pretty happy at the moment, though. c: Just reclusive.

Here’s some pictures because goshdarnit if I can help myself from keeping images of things:

Monsterrr Hunterrr, yes (captured the first Lagiacrus that didn’t run away because yes).

A Link Between Worlds. 100th Maiamai >:o (You’d think I would’ve picked up that one sooner but I was stubborn and it was easily accessible adorablesqueaks.) Also played through Ocarina of Time, and while I don’t get the rampant fanboyism that exists around it, it’s definitely a good game.Yesss LoZs.

Oh there was also a brief foray back into Spiral Knights in there. I kinda wanna get back into it but I also kind of don’t. I dunno. I load it up occasionally (I do not know how to quit games speaking of, I look forward to looting Katie’s internet so I can re-download TSW on the good laptop).

Also a little minecrafting, but not much worthy of screenshots.

I’ve also poked at a few other games (surprisingly not including any pokemon ones since I finished Y’s storyline I got bored due to lack of postgame), but nothing else that’s picturey.

Casualest of updates on stuff I tend to post about? Whee~ If anyone’s interested in hearing about anything else, my ask box is open. o:

I would squee with screenshots and everything of the Fall Leafy Aura I just managed to acquire in Spiral Knights, but my UI glitched waaay out and I’m too sleepy to reboot the client.

So.

Very tempered squee. Pretty awesome accessory piece, much orange, much leaf. c:

I was going through old pictures and this is still the best picture I’ve ever taken of me … due to sheer ridiculousness, omg.

Merry yule or christmas or other family event errybody. \o/ Or if you’re celebrating something else entirely, merry that too. It’s not like most of the traditions we’re perpetuating here have much (if anything) to do with the old ways anymore. My granma’s fairly religious, though, so it’s tipped slightly in that direction for us with some psalms and angel decorations standing about. I was at a blót on the 20th too (even though in the old times yuleblóts were supposedly held in january? Iunno mang, but it was neat). I remain firmly agnostic but fond of good food and present exchanges, so. Merriness! c:
We’re having an excessively wet and windy december over here in Denmark, hence the umbrella instead of a tree. Our actual tree is amusingly tiny, I should snap a picture later.

FireAlpaca test run.
My year-and-a-half-or-so old laptop started choking up several months back, slowly accumulating more and more issues (including regular overheating, shutting me out of several games :c ) and recently it gave up and refused to start up entirely.
It’s in for repairs at the moment, no verdict yet.
As I can’t really stand having no internet for however long that will take (especially since long distance relationship), I went and bought a cheap laptop as a hopefully temporary solution.
Sooo lacking my legit PSE, I could either pirate or look into alternatives. I’m not a fan of pirating, though I don’t generally care what others do, but yeah. Some doodles in good old reliable-but-disappointing Paint later, I tried GIMP and that was an enormous failure. So. FireAlpaca? Seems like it’ll be workable. Its interface and shortcut keys are delightfully similar to PSE’s, so for at least a brief test it felt very intuitive. Looks like I’ll miss some filter shenanigans and probably other things I’m used to taking for granted, but for plain doodling it should work. Cured the seething rage GIMP was infusing me with, at any rate. \o/
